Quality for the price? Not a bargain. I can see dozens of pinprick holes through the bottom of the bag - right where the books will be the heaviest. The thickness of the fabric overall is much flimsier than the Hanna Andersson packback we have. It's pink and has a pony so my 5-year-old girl loves it - so I can't send it back. If I could, I would. Broad Bay Cotton lost my order but made good in the end by shipping immediately.
